Good Friday
Good Friday and Easter.
It's a day for all christians to rmb Christ who died on the cross for us. That day, I was in church when I heard this beautiful song.
The first time i heard it was when the choir sang it at the beginning of the service.
It's really meaningful. I was so absorbed in their singing and the words.
The second time I heard this song was on the same day, Good friday but it was when I went to the Good Friday musical by zion. It was a guy singing with a guitar. i was like whoa... his voice felt powerful and indescribable when he sang Via Dolorosa.
so I felt that I wanted to share this wonderful song to all of us. (:

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary
He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes uponHis back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
